Our objectives are:

  • To enhance the public understanding of budget processes and allocations through demystifying budget documents.
  • To engage with governments for budget-sector reforms including increased citizens participation in decision making.
  • To identify gaps in transparency and accountability mechanisms in the budget processes and documents and suggesting ways for improvement.
  • To provide technical support to civil society, network partners and elected representatives.
  • To act as a resource centre for budget-related research and analysis for national and international audience.
